Whale partly force-closed, 5th in five days · 30.10.2026
Case No. 20261030 · 30.10.2026
Bitcoin travelled a 7.2% range over the dayup first, then down; on the decline the biggest longs gave up on their own, at a heavy loss, while the whale we've tracked since Monday opened a big short near the low — and this morning the exchange partially closed that short twice: the fifth forced close in five days.

📅YESTERDAY
The daily expiry 29.10 settled at 08:00 UTC: bitcoin at $79,779, inside the market-maker corridor $78,000–82,500 fixed a day before expiry; max pain$80,000 matched — the settlement was 0.3% below it. Ether at $2,306, inside its corridor $2,260–2,440; max pain$2,320 matched too. The registry took in both — it now holds 472 expiries. Overnight the code closed 42 old cases from August-to-October expiries that had stayed open until now: +$2.9M for the whales in total.
Of the positions yesterday's radar said to watch: both shorts with lines above the market closed on their own — the exchange didn't liquidate them; the whale with the new long line closed its long itself in the early afternoon, six hours before price passed that line.
⚡THE GIST
• Since yesterday's morning snapshot bitcoin is down 2.1%, ether 3.1%. Between the morning snapshots (04:46 UTC) bitcoin travelled a 7.2% range: the high on the Hyperliquid perp was $81,955 at 16:09 UTC, the low $76,443 at 02:06.
• Yesterday's near fuel on both sides burned out without liquidations of big accounts: the shorts near the upper lines and the longs near the lower ones closed or cut on their own. The biggest bitcoin long sold almost everything at a heavy loss, another big long got out before the fall, the big ether long sold more than a third of its position.
• The whale we've tracked since Monday closed its long itself before the fall and opened a big short near the low — and at 05:03 UTC, on the rebound, the exchange partially closed that short, then at 05:32, after this snapshot, once more. That is the fifth partial forced close of this account in five days.
• The whales' short tilt by the registry grew — 4.1 times against 3.6: the long shrank by about $23M, the short barely changed. On the constant set of addresses the whales shifted toward short by about $76.0M over the day.
• Near fuel has almost gone: within 1% above the price — $8.5M of short lines; long lines start only 3.1% under the price, the largest of them 4.6% down.
• Verdict — continuation ⟳. Bitcoin funds let money out over the week, ether funds too; the crowd on Bybit, by contrast, added longs; our fear-and-greed index is 55 against 52.
• 📊 Our Polygon — Pendulum: the best of four versions, +$358 on the day, +$6,601 in total since 11.05.
• 📊 Our Polygon — signals: best — Dust Strategy V2 +$74,969 at a 4% win rate · worst — Wheel Trail V8 −$10,859. Table at the bottom.
🐋WHALES: WHAT CHANGED — three arenas
Arena one — Hyperliquid futures. We measure the day's change in coins between the 04:46 UTC snapshots — on the constant set and on all addresses of both snapshots (how we track whale positions). In BTC on the constant set — 116 addresses — longs shrank by 542BTC and shorts grew by 428: the tilt moved toward short by about $76.0M. The long was cut by the big low-leverage long that sold almost everything, by a high-leverage long that got out before the fall, and by one more big high-leverage long that trimmed on its own; the whale we track went from long to short. Shorts were added by that whale and by several other big shorts; two shorts with lines above the market closed in full. The most long was added by one big high-leverage account. Across all addresses — about $34.5M toward short: a big high-leverage long that re-entered the sample offset part of the shift. In ETH on the constant set longs shrank by 14,199 ETH and shorts by 34,809: about $46.3M toward long. The big ether long sold more than a third of its position, but several big shorts closed or flipped into longs. Across all addresses — about $39.5M toward long. Across the registry — among positions with a liquidation price — at the 04:46 UTC snapshot: BTC long $185.0M against a short of $755.9M, yesterday — $208.1M and $757.7M. The short is 4.1 times the long against 3.6 yesterday: the long shrank by about $23M, the short by about $2M. ETH — $226.3M against $532.6M, the long share 29.8% against 32.1%. Overleveraged whales number 52 against 59 yesterday, their positions total $806.9M against $971.6M, 59% of it longs against 64%. The exchange partially closed the short of the whale we track at 05:03 and 05:32 UTC, after the morning snapshot; the biggest of the accounts whose lines of yesterday price touched over the day closed or cut on their own; in bitcoin and ether the exchange force-closed only smaller longs — up to $1.2M each. The biggest forced close of the day in the sample was a long in SOL, at 20:41 UTC on 29.10.
Arena two — Deribit options. In the two-day window, from Wednesday morning to Friday morning, 97 structures were recognised in bitcoin and 42 in ether — against 55 and 20 in yesterday's window. The main event in bitcoin — protection bought already on the fall. The biggest purchases of the day were two identical blocks at 23:44–23:46 UTC: puts far under the market for 13.11. In the evening, once price had gone through to the downside, several blocks bought puts near the market for today's expiry and for Saturday. The other way, at 22:29 one block bought calls far above the market for March — a long-dated position on a rise. Among the day's new structures — straddles for 13.11, partly paid for by selling straddles for next Friday: a position on a big move either way. In ether — the same, only bigger: at 02:47–03:15 UTC puts far under the market were bought for 13.11 — the biggest ether purchase of the day; at 04:22 a big block of puts slightly above the market was sold for today's expiry. Quiet accumulation over the week (what a block is): in bitcoin puts far under the market keep being built up across many expiries, along with calls slightly above the market — mostly for today; in ether — almost only puts under the market, most of them for 13.11.
Arena three — money at the exchange border. The last transfer above $250k in the snapshot was today at 05:02 UTC. Over seven days $77.0M was brought into the exchange and $72.6M taken out — $4.4M more arrived than left; yesterday the weekly window gave −$34.0M: the week flipped to an inflow in a single day. Since yesterday's snapshot $47.3M came in by 59 tranches: $24.6M of USDC cash, mostly to a few big accounts, and coins — $11.7M of bitcoin, $6.1M of ZEC, $4.2M of ether; nine withdrawals went out, $9.8M of USDC together. Coins over the week came in: $20.8M of bitcoin arrived with no withdrawal at all, ZEC $14.4M against $0.5M withdrawn, ether $6.2M, SOL $2.8M. Of USDC cash, $39.3M more left than arrived.
This is positioning, not a direction forecast.
🧭CROSS-CHECK — five camps of witnesses
What the funds are doing. Spot ETFs are the only camp that measures purchases of the coin itself, not a leveraged position. In bitcoin the latest figures are for Wednesday 28.10; there is no Thursday data yet. Over the week 22–28.10 the funds let out $349.8M against an inflow of $1,000.8M the week before: the window moved by one day — the big inflow of 21.10 dropped out of it, the outflow of 22–23.10 stayed. On Wednesday itself the funds bought $137.3M (TFTC / The Commoner). In ether over the week 23–29.10 the funds let out $271.3M against $294.6M the week before; on Thursday 29.10 — $105.5M of outflow in a single day (SoSoValue). This camp confirms the whales in bitcoin and contradicts them in ether: bitcoin funds sell over the week while the whales stand short; ether funds sell while the whales on the constant set shift toward long.
What the options market says. This camp measures one thing: what insurance costs on the Deribit book. BTCskew is +3.2 against +3.3 yesterday — almost unchanged (what skew is). In ETH+6.4 against +3.2 — the tilt toward puts has doubled. BTC two-day vol sits in the 63rd percentile since February against the 28th yesterday; ETH — in the 57th against the 28th (what implied vol is). Our fear-and-greed index stands at 55 out of 100 against 52 yesterday — still the neutral zone. This camp confirms the whales: the nearest insurance went from cheap to usual over the day, and in ether protection against a fall got dearer relative to positions on a rise more than anywhere else.
What the futures say. This camp measures who pays whom to hold a position. BTC funding on Hyperliquid is +0.010% in eight-hour terms, as yesterday, on Binance +0.000% against +0.002% (what funding is). In ETH−0.032% on Hyperliquid against +0.001%, and −0.003% on Binance against +0.003%. This camp is silent: in bitcoin the payments are near zero, as yesterday; in ether shorts now pay a little — the short side got more crowded on the fall, but it's far from overheating.
What the crowd is doing. This camp measures how retail accounts stand against the whales. On Bybit perps at 02:30 UTC, the last measurement before this snapshot, 67.8% of BTC accounts stand long against 64.8% yesterday; in ETH73.6% against 72.8%. The whales' long share in bitcoin — 19.7% against 21.5%, in ether 29.8% against 32.1%. This camp contradicts the whales: on the fall the crowd added longs, the whales cut them. The gap in bitcoin, after three days of narrowing, widened by 4.8 points, to 48.1 — from both sides at once. It is wider than on 83% of the days in our month of measurement, yesterday — than on 63%. In ether 43.8 against 40.6.
Any signs of stress. This camp measures whether anyone has already been forced out of the market. On OKX swaps $8.4M was liquidated over the day, 97% of it longs, against $466k yesterday — 18 times more; that is 65% of the week's liquidations. On Hyperliquid the exchange partially closed one big account's short this morning; the biggest bitcoin and ether longs closed on their own on the decline, before their lines, and the forced closes hit smaller ones; the biggest forced close of the day in our sample was a long in SOL. This camp confirms the whales: on the decline longs were being forced out — en masse on OKX, but with no cascade among the big bitcoin and ether accounts on Hyperliquid.
Again: this is positioning, not a direction forecast.
🌡ALTSEASON — the classic and our barometer
The classic altseason index is 40.1 out of 100 on a list of 274 alts against 49.5 yesterday on a list of 218; the lists differ, so the comparison is rough. This is the transition zone: altseason starts at 75, bitcoin season sits below 25.
Our barometer watches money, not prices: open interest, funding and retail come from Bybit perps, the whales from the Hyperliquid registry. Alts' share of open interest is 40.6% — $4.86B of $11.96B against 40.5% yesterday.
Alt contracts with funding hotter than bitcoin's make up 35.8% of open interest against 40.4% yesterday. This measure swings between extremes from one day to the next, so a difference like this isn't treated as a move.
Retail in the top-10 coins stands 73.4% long against 75.1% yesterday.
Whales in alts are structurally short: 25.0% long across $1.12B of positions, the largest of them HYPE. That gap itself is permanent, the signal is in its CHANGE — over the day the whales' long share barely moved: 25.0% against 25.1%.

⚖️VERDICT OF THE DAY
continuation ⟳ — the whales stand short in bitcoin: the registry's short is 4.1 times the long against 3.6 yesterday, while price is down 2.1% from yesterday's snapshot. The witnesses: options and stress side with the whales, the funds — with the whales in bitcoin; the crowd stands against them; the futures are silent.
What this does NOT mean. It isn't a new mass short: by the registry the short barely changed, and the tilt grew because longs were closing — on their own and at a loss. The shift toward short on the constant set is mostly longs that left, plus one whale that opened a big short near the low. There is now no near long fuel within 3% under the price — that is about how far a move down can carry for the same push, not about it being more likely.
🔒In today's full RADAR:
• how the account of the whale the exchange partially closed twice this morning — already in its short — has changed, and where its line now lies;
• the structure of the day — straddles for 13.11, partly paid for by selling the weekly ones: what was paid for them net.

🔒WHALES IN DETAIL 💠
Portraits from the Hyperliquid registry, snapshot 04:46 UTC; the day's change is measured between the 04:46 snapshots, in coins; the moves of individual addresses come from the trade records. Distance to liquidation is from the header spot. Nicknames aren't treated as identification.
The whale the exchange closed a fifth time. Yesterday at the snapshot — LONG 107.9BTC ($8.6M) at 40× from $81,399, liquidation at $79,451. At 13:18–14:20 UTC the account closed the long itself at $80,172–80,422, −$125k — six hours before price passed its line. At the top it went short and out five times; the biggest — 450BTC at 14:41–14:55 (+$119k) and 355BTC at 15:25–17:23 (+$163k). At 21:39 it opened LONG 306BTC at $79,496–79,569 and at 23:45 closed it at $78,279–78,357, −$375k, flipping into a short at once; until 01:41 it shorted briefly twice more, in profit. Near the low, at 01:44–03:04, it opened SHORT 485.7BTC from flat at $77,060–77,479. At the 04:46 snapshot — SHORT 485.7BTC ($38.1M) at 40× from $77,289, uPnL −$0.52M, liquidation at $78,437 — 0.1% above the perp price at the moment of the snapshot. At 05:03 UTC, on the rebound, the exchange force-closed 97.1BTC of this short at $78,439–78,459, −$112k. After it — SHORT 388.5BTC, the line at $78,673. At 05:32, after this snapshot, when price reached that line, the exchange closed 77.7BTC more at $78,691–78,711, −$110k. That is the fifth partial forced close of this account in five days — after 26.10, 28.10, 29.10 and 05:03 today. Now — SHORT 310.9BTC, the line at $78,903 — 0.5% above the header spot. By the day's trades up to the snapshot — −$266k after fees; the account topped up margin twice from another Hyperliquid address — $0.67M at 13:34 UTC and $0.60M at 03:03 — and withdrew $0.5M.
The big longs that gave up. The big low-leverage long — yesterday LONG 667.2BTC ($53.4M) at 11× from $81,112, liquidation at $74,757 — sold almost everything on the decline on its own: at 20:45 UTC — 326.9BTC at $78,565–78,714, at 22:16 — 449.1BTC more at $78,633–78,702, having bought 95 in between. By the day's trades — −$1.79M after fees; this morning LONG 30.4BTC ($2.4M) at 7× from $77,265, the account holding $0.52M against $4.16M yesterday. The 40× long with its line at $76,550 — yesterday LONG 340BTC and 6,000 ETH — got out before the fall: in the morning it closed everything at a loss, at 08:31–08:38 bought 300BTC and 6,000 ETH again, and at 17:36–17:51, near the top, sold them at $80,691–81,108 and $2,335–2,349; −$0.43M over the day across both coins, no position this morning. The big 40× long with its line at $76,525 added 100BTC in the evening and cut on its own on the decline — from 333.2 to 247.5BTC ($19.4M) from $81,548, uPnL −$0.79M, a new line at $74,498 — 5.1% under spot; the day's low passed below its old line, but it saw no forced closes.
The shorts that closed on their own. The 200-BTC short with its line at $80,855 closed itself at 14:13–14:14 UTC at $80,420–80,500, −$110k — 22 minutes before price reached $80,900; the account then traded both ways and holds no position this morning. The 131-BTC short with its line at $80,861, at 14:33–14:36, just as price approached its line, closed 79BTC on its own at $80,788–81,184, −$93k, and the rest at 20:08–20:11; it then traded small long and short, at 20:45 the exchange force-closed 13BTC of its new long at $78,671–78,679, and this morning it holds nothing.
New positions near the low. The account that sold 700BTC at the top of the range two days ago and dropped out of the sample is back: LONG 600BTC ($47.0M) at 25× from $78,910, uPnL −$0.33M, liquidation at $74,874 — 4.6% under spot; that is the largest long line within 5% under the price. A 40× long grew from 106.2 to 307.1BTC ($24.1M) from $79,924, liquidation at $50,092 — far away. A 40× short grew from 31.4 to 213.8BTC ($16.8M) from $77,936 — the line is far, the account is large. A new SHORT 108.1BTC ($8.5M) at 40× from $78,250, liquidation at $79,237 — 1.0% above spot; that is all the short fuel within 1% above the price.
Ether. The big 10× ether long sold 17,857.5 ETH on its own at 00:33–00:34 UTC at $2,202–2,211, −$7.23M by the trades. This morning LONG 30,642 ETH ($68.8M) from $2,610, uPnL −$11.15M against −$14.1M yesterday, liquidation at $2,122 — 5.6% under the market; its old line at $2,171 lay $2 from the day's low of $2,173, but the sale had moved it down before the low came. The big 20× ether long is unchanged: LONG 30,282 ETH ($68.0M) from $2,134, uPnL +$3.39M against +$5.58M yesterday, liquidation at $1,786. The 10× long that added yesterday added again — 2,000 ETH: LONG 12,888 ETH ($29.0M) from $2,370, uPnL −$1.59M.
The largest short house. Two addresses: BTC SHORT $206.0M from $76,366, uPnL −$5.24M, and BTC SHORT $194.2M from $78,114, uPnL −$0.61M; ETH SHORT $239.0M and $145.3M, uPnL +$8.13M and +$8.34M. Together an unrealised gain of $10.6M against a loss of $10.5M yesterday: over the day the house went from red to black. One address trimmed slightly — by 37.6BTC and 781ETH. The account that doubled its short on 23.10 added again — 70.8BTC: SHORT 1,335.6 BTC ($104.7M) at 25× from $81,249, uPnL +$3.85M, liquidation at $92,075 — 17.3% above the market; it closed its 5,789-ETH short and holds a small ether long.
The structure of the day — a straddle calendar. At 00:10 UTC, already on the fall, with the index at $77,748, one block bought 200 straddles at $78,000 for 13.11 — ≈13.4BTC paid — and sold 100 straddles at $78,000 for 06.11, ≈5.2BTC received; net ≈8.2BTC. At 00:40 — the same pair again, ten times smaller. The position earns on a big move either way up to 13.11, and the sale of the weekly straddles paid for part of the purchase. In our registry it sits under No. 1220, recorded inaccurately — the detector merged the two expiries into one; we'll check its score after the fix.
Protection on the fall. At 23:44 and 23:46 UTC, with the index at $78,215 and $77,922, two blocks of 1,000 each bought puts at $74,000 for 13.11, ≈15.1 and ≈16.0BTC paid — ≈31.1BTC together, the biggest purchases of the day. In the evening at 20:38–20:41 two blocks bought 500 puts at $78,000 for 31.10, ≈1.6BTC; at 21:06 three blocks — 500 puts at $78,000 for today, ≈2.5BTC; at 21:11–21:12 three blocks — 500 puts at $77,000 for 31.10, ≈3.0BTC. At 03:27 200 puts at $81,000 for today were bought — deep in the money, ≈9.4BTC. The other way, at 22:29 497 calls at $95,000 for 26.03.2027 were bought, ≈19.7BTC, and at 16:48–16:51, near the top, four blocks — 500 calls at $82,500 for 31.10, ≈1.3BTC. At 17:55–17:56 358 calls at $70,000 and $71,000 for today were sold — deep in the money, ≈47.8BTC received.
Ether: puts for 13.11. At 02:47 and 03:15 UTC, with the index at $2,209 and $2,206, 1,500 and 13,500 puts at $2,000 for 13.11 were bought, ≈25.4 and ≈222.8ETH paid — 15,000 puts for ≈248ETH together. At 04:22 14,000 puts at $2,300 for today were sold — in the money, ≈436.8ETH received. The $2,280 / $2,200 put spread for 31.10, bought in blocks of 2,500 on the morning of 29.10 (≈12.3ETH paid), was sold at 20:45–20:46 in blocks of 3,000, already on the fall, ≈35.8ETH received. At 02:16 2,500 November puts at $2,150 were sold, ≈125.3ETH received; at 00:04 3,550 December calls at $3,200 were bought, ≈24.1ETH.

🔬Who exactly
The largest short house is Abraxas Capital Mgmt (Heka Funds): two addresses, $400.2M of bitcoin short together and $384.3M in ether, $10.6M of unrealised gain — yesterday it was a $10.5M loss.
The account that doubled its short on 23.10 is the address with the self-assigned name VBVIT. A self-assigned name isn't identification.
The address with the Arkham label Fasanara Capital flipped ether: from SHORT 26,417 to LONG 5,316 ETH ($11.9M) — and grew its bitcoin short for a third day running, from 356.5 to 398.2BTC ($31.2M). Before that, on 29.10 at 13:09–15:52 UTC, the same address received $11.9M of USDC in five tranches — the biggest inflow of the day. A fund's position may be part of a wider strategy, so we don't take a direction from a single day.
The rest of the portraits above — the whale the exchange closed a fifth time, the big longs that gave up, the shorts that closed on their own, the new positions near the low, the big ether longs — aren't in our Arkham label base (today's request to Arkham again didn't answer); several of them have self-assigned names, but we don't use those.
Money by address. Deposits over the day: besides the $11.9M to the address with the Fasanara label — $5.0M of USDC in two tranches at 02:09 and 03:03 UTC to one address without an Arkham label; in bitcoin — $2.94M from a Crypto.com deposit address at 02:30 and $2.85M from the address with the Arkham label Wintermute at 02:58; ZEC — fifteen tranches, mostly from exchange deposit addresses. Withdrawals — nine, $9.8M of USDC: twice to an OKX deposit address, $0.9M at 20:56 and $0.59M at 00:34, two of $2.0M at 00:49–00:50 to one address without a label, another $2.0M at 16:49 — to the address of one of the whales in our sample, the rest smaller.
🔒THE WEEK'S DYNAMICS 🔬
Perps on a constant set of addresses. Over 7 days, between the 23.10 and 30.10 snapshots at 04:46 UTC, on 109 addresses: BTC — about $64.3M toward long, ETH — about $105.0M toward long; across all addresses of both snapshots — about $9.5M and about $85.4M toward long. The weekly bitcoin figure comes from the composition of the set, not from trading: over the last day alone the set shifted toward short by about $76.0M. The day's two biggest sellers — the big low-leverage long and the whale the exchange kept closing — weren't in the 23.10 snapshot, while the account that came back with LONG 600BTC is in both weekly snapshots but not in yesterday's. So we don't treat the weekly long shift in bitcoin as a flow of money; in ether the week and the day point the same way.
Gamma flip.BTC across the whole book at the 04:14 UTC calculation — $79,153 against $79,302 yesterday; spot is now 0.9% below it — yesterday it was 1.1% above: bitcoin has moved under the flip, into the zone where market-makers' hedging amplifies a move (what the flip is). The near flips — $79,854–80,065 at 2–30 days — are above spot. ETH across the whole book $2,334 against $2,346 — spot 3.7% below it, yesterday 1.1%; the near ones at $2,384–2,413 — above the market.
The price of fear. On the weekly window the premium is +3.2 against +5.0 yesterday: IV38.7 against the actual weekly HV35.5 — the actual weekly move is catching up with the price of insurance.
🔒CROSS-CHECK IN DETAIL 💠
BTC levels. Everything below comes from the Deribit options book unless stated otherwise. Today's expiry 30.10 is the monthly one, at 08:00 UTC, after this snapshot: max pain$78,500 across the combined book, $78,000 on Deribit, $80,000 on Bybit (what max pain is); put wall $70,000 (4,358 contracts), call wall $95,000 (19,951) (what the walls are). 30.10 holds 32% of all bitcoin contracts, 25.12 — 33%. The market-maker corridor for the nearest expiry — $73,000–82,500, spot inside it.
ETH levels. 30.10: max pain$2,400 across the combined book and on Deribit, $2,340 on Bybit; put wall $2,400 (14,733) — above spot, call wall $2,600 (37,506). The market-maker corridor — $2,200–2,650, spot inside it, 2.2% above the lower edge.
Fuel. Lines from the 04:46 UTC snapshot, distances from the header spot. Within 1% and 2%: above BTC — $8.5M of short lines (one, at $79,237), under it — nothing; yesterday within 1% there was $26.8M above the price and $9.7M under it. The line of the whale in its short already stood below the header price at the snapshot, so it doesn't count as fuel; after the two morning closes it is $78,903. Within 5% — $55.6M of long lines: the nearest at $76,067 ($7.6M, 3.1% down), the largest at $74,874 ($47.0M, 4.6% down); shorts — the same $8.5M; yesterday — $71.7M and $30.7M. In ETH within 5% — only $2.3M of shorts above the market against $0.7M of longs and $2.8M of shorts yesterday. The biggest forced close of the day in the sample fell in neither coin — a SOL long of $10.3M at 20:41 UTC on 29.10. This is about the RANGE of a move for the same push, not about a higher probability of that move (what the fuel map is).
Gamma vacuum. In BTC there are no empty zones above the market; below it $72,000–73,000 is empty; in ETH — $2,100–2,150.
Stress test ±2%. From the header spot: in bitcoin a 2% fall ($76,904) is still above the day's low of $76,443 and above the long lines at $76,067 and $74,874; above, +2% ($80,042) is past the whole-book flip at $79,153, past the short lines at $78,903 and $79,237 and level with the near flips at $79,854–80,065. In ether −2% ($2,203) is above the day's low of $2,173; +2% ($2,293) is under the whole-book flip at $2,334 and under the 30.10 put wall at $2,400.

The corridor holds — 40%. ⏱ 2 days, to 01.11. BTC stays between $76,400 and $79,200 — from −2.6% to +0.9% of the header spot. At the bottom the corridor ends under the day's low of $76,443; at the top — near the whole-book gamma flip at $79,153 and under the $79,237 short line. Cancellation level: a touch of $75,900.
Squeeze up through the short fuel — 30%. ⏱ 2 days, to 01.11. Trigger: a touch of $79,300 — above the gamma flip at $79,153 and above the $79,237 line of the 40× short; on the way — the $78,903 line of the whale in its short. Next — the near flips at $79,854–80,065. Cancellation level: a touch of $76,400.
Slide into the long fuel — 30%. ⏱ 2 days, to 01.11. Trigger: a touch of $76,400 — under the day's low. Further down — the $76,067 long line, the $74,874 line of the largest 25× long, $47.0M, and the empty zone $72,000–73,000. Cancellation level: a touch of $79,300.
This is how we weigh the odds — not a promise; the code will compute the verdict from spot history.

📅PUBLIC LEDGER
(computed by code at the settlement price)
The market-maker corridor. Across 472 expiries since February the market-maker break-even corridor fixed a day before expiry held the settlement price 387 times — 82%; yesterday's daily expiries in both coins also settled inside the corridor. Decision: we lean on the corridor knowing that roughly one expiry in five it doesn't hold.
Max pain. A match with the settlement in 175 of those same 472 expiries, 37%; yesterday it matched in both coins — after a day when it matched in neither. Decision: we don't chase max pain.
The walls. The call wall held the settlement in 79 of 159 expiries where price reached it — 50%; the put wall in 49 of 117, 42%: yesterday's bitcoin put wall was broken by price. Decision: we don't publish a wall without an expiry and a contract count, nor its percentage without a base.
Whale structures. The registry: 931 closed cases (5 of them from Bybit); across the 922 with a score, −$15.98M in total for the whales against −$18.91M yesterday: overnight the code closed 42 old cases from August-to-October expiries, and together they gave the whales +$2.9M. Case No. 1210 the code closed at the first expiry in the black, and the second leg settled at a loss — that isn't in this sum yet. Decision: win rate isn't money, and we don't copy whale structures — we track where they stand.
Polygon. Pendulum +$6,601 since 11.05 with +$358 on the day — both numbers from one series, the live curve of the best of four versions. Decision: we publish the tally daily with the same denominator and with the version's name, on a losing day too.
